We hope exchanges like this will continue in the future so others may benefit as we have. Ayesha Khan

CADFA Report

The exchange programme in Palestine organised by CADFA and facilitated by ERASMUS+ has been a surreal experience to say the least. We have learnt facets of religion, culture and politics which we could have not picked up from reading textbooks alone. We visited historical sites, experienced culture and engaged in learning. By meeting students at the university, we learnt from those very similar to us, in different conditions to us. Through this we learnt their lived experiences.

Like my fellow delegates and friends, we are very grateful to all those who have supported the facilitation of this exchange as it has shaped us all in some form. As the delegation was comprised of young people from different parts of the UK and France we befriended and learnt from people who belonged to different parts of the world. We reflected on our time together so we can create a positive contribution in the future. We shared knowledge, laughter and short phrases so that we could pick up on different languages. This experience will be remembered for years to come as it deeply moved us. We hope exchanges like this will continue in the future so others may benefit as we have.
